Modern Santa Claus is a plump man in full bloom with a snow-white beard and mustache. He is dressed in a red jacket and red pants, a cap on his head, a wide belt wraps around a voluminous tummy. What all the children of the planet expect from him are gifts that he puts in socks and stockings by the fireplace, or just under the Christmas tree!

Step 1
Redraw this simple pattern or print it out. Cut out the details of Santa Claus and the reindeer. Separate the details of the figures from each other, because you cut them from different fabrics. Place the pattern on the fabric and trace carefully with a chalk or pencil.
For a deer figurine, choose fabric, short-haired fur or natural-colored leather. For Santa's outfit, use the traditional white and red color scheme, although a brightly colored jacket looks just as good on a toy. It is better to cut out the face and hands of the product from a plain beige stretch fabric.
Step 2
Embroider the deer face and eyes on Santa's face. Sew the clothes separately, then you will put them on the toy figure.
Deer antlers can be made from twigs or wire and sewn to the deer's head later. It is better to make the ears combined - the inner surface of a bright fabric. Horns, if you are sewing them from fabric, carefully turn them out and fill them with filler, sew up the hole. Roll the ears into a shell, secure in this position with a thread.
Step 3
Very carefully sweep the ears and horns of the deer to the front of the muzzle, but inward, so that when the head is turned, they are in the correct position. Stuff the head and body of the deer, sew the front leg of the animal separately and stuff it too. Assemble the figure, combining all the details in the right places, sew them to each other.
The leg can be sewn with a decorative cross stitch or with a button. Tie a bow or a bright scarf around the deer's neck, decorate the antlers with glittering tinsel or sprinkle with glitter hairspray.
Step 4
Sew the details of Santa Claus, stuff them (stuff your legs according to the inscription on the pattern) and connect them into a single figure. Legs can be sewn from the same fabric as the whole body, and stockings and boots can be sewn separately and put on on top - it will be even more interesting! Sew stockings from jersey with a pronounced "rib"; an old striped sock will do. Make boots from leather or leatherette.
Step 5
Make a beard out of fluffy white fur, curl the strands with a pencil and secure with varnish. Put clothes on the Santa figurine, gently straighten the cap, decorate the jacket with sparkles or sequins. Place the reindeer under Santa's hugging arm and sew.
