For many, fishing is the most exciting and favorite pastime in their free time. In the summer, when the water has already warmed up enough, it is the best time to fish for carp. The most promising habitats for fish are various driftwood in the water, large rocks and tough vegetation.

Step 1
After the water has warmed up to 20 degrees, carps begin to look for the most suitable, cool place. These can be areas where underwater springs gush, there are various kinds of pits and thickets of reeds. In the sweltering heat, the carp tries not to leave their shelter, but the night is the time to search for food. The best time to catch it is early morning (before sunrise) or late evening. Also, the fish bite well in cloudy but warm weather with a little rain.

For carp fishing, the most common fishing rod is suitable. But recently, more and more anglers are starting to use a feeder, and professionals use boilies as a nozzle. Although there is practically no fishing with this tackle in Russian reservoirs. But the most widespread and actual bait is still earthworms, peas, potatoes, corn and bread.

Carp, in exactly the same way as bream, is best caught in lured places. If you are planning a fishing trip for the evening, then fill in the bait from the evening of the previous day or early in the morning (as a last resort). If you decide to go fishing in the early morning, then you should feed the fish in the evening. Use rye, wheat, or peas as complementary foods. Do not forget to bring some croup with you to feed the carp while fishing.

However, it is worth knowing that carp is a distrustful and very careful fish, so try not to make noise during fishing, otherwise the carp will not work, fishing is gone. Do not smoke while fishing and do not wear bright clothes - the fish may get scared. Clothing should be less visible to fish, neutral in color, and comfortable for you.

The bite of carp can be compared to the bite of roach and bream. The carp shakes the float a little, taking it a little to the side. In some cases, the bite is expressed by a weak jerk of the float, twisting in one place or slightly immersed in water. In this case, quickly make a sweep, the sooner you do it, the more chances of catching it.
Step 6
For catching large carp, use braided line, as it is very difficult to pull out large fish on a regular one. If the line is very thick, it can scare the carp while it tries the bait carefully. With a fairly strong and soft braided line, you can avoid these problems. When striking, be especially careful not to rip the lip of the carp.
