Crucian carp is one of the most unpretentious lake and river fish. Fishing for this fish is effective only if you follow some simple rules. To do this, you need a well-functioning float tackle, catchy nozzles and fish feeding according to the season. Since crucian carp is reasonably considered a very fastidious and cautious fish, you need to approach the preparation of fishing very thoroughly.

It is worth remembering that crucian carp is a daytime fish, but rather a morning one, and it is impossible to catch it at night. The best time for fishing is from dawn to ten o'clock in the morning. On very hot days, the peak biting occurs at noon, as at this time the crucian carp walk in the sun.

Crucian carp spends most of the time in the grass and almost never goes out into a clean area, especially in places where you can meet perch, pike and other predators. Therefore, crucian carp is mainly caught from the shore and there is no need for a boat.
Step 3
To catch crucian carp, the most common tackle is used: rods, rather light and without a reel, the length of which reaches a length of four meters; hair line in six hairs. The most suitable tackle is a float rod. The bait is a roll of Darnitsa bread or a piece of worm. Taking into account the peculiarities of the stay of the fish, you need to carefully adjust the location of the nozzle. It should not lie at the bottom, but it is also not worth lifting it high. The optimal distance from the bottom to the nozzle is 4-8 centimeters.

The float should be sensitive and light, one third of which should remain on the surface. The most common and well-known goose feather float will do. The hook should be no more than # 5. This is due to the bait and size of the crucian carp.

Carp is well caught on a worm, pieces of bloodworms, bread, cottage cheese and porridge (buckwheat and millet). The more the bait smells, the faster the fish will find it. Therefore, it is flavored with a variety of fragrant oils: linseed, sunflower or hemp.

There is one reliable way to catch crucian carp - this is bait. To do this, take steamed cereal grains, bread crumbs or leftover porridge. Throw a few handfuls of complementary foods just before fishing in the place where you will later cast your rod.
