Small coasters for all kinds of objects can decorate your interior with their presence. You can make such pleasant to the eye and heart little things from scrap materials. Here are some ways for you to make a beautiful do-it-yourself stand.
Instructions
Step 1
A bowl for cookies, fruit, and other sweet items can be made with ice cream sticks. It is not necessary to eat ice cream in kilograms, since sticks can be bought or taken in almost any supermarket. PVA glue is also easy to get.
Step 2
We spread from sticks glued together, a regular hexagon. We put on our hexagon a few more layers of sticks. And now we need to glue 6-7 more layers, moving the sticks with each layer to the center. And with the last action, we glue the sticks with a continuous row to the bottom of the structure, thereby forming the bottom. The fruit stand is ready. All that remains is to remove excess glue, wait for the glue to dry, and varnish the stand or leave it as it is.
Step 3
Now let's make a hot stand. To do this, we need a tree (bamboo is possible), a few beads and a thread or fishing line. We take a drill, a jigsaw and a drill with a diameter of about 1.5 cm from the tools and proceed.
Step 4
We saw a board with dimensions of 18x13x1 cm into several rectangular blanks, drill in the edge of each hole so that when the blanks are connected, they form an even figure with us, and do not dance up and down. We process the blanks with fine sandpaper.
Step 5
Now take beads with a diameter of 4-5 mm. We pass a fishing line or silk thread through the holes in the planks, string it along the bead at the ends of the fishing line. After that, we tie the end of the fishing line into a knot, and our cute hot stand can be considered ready. There is no need to cover such a stand, since varnishes and paints from hot dishes can melt.
Step 6
To prevent pens and pencils from lying around in different corners, you can make a simple stand for them from an ordinary plastic bottle. You can also take a glass bottle, but then we need a glass cutter. We cut the bottle parallel to the bottom and approximately in the middle, border the edges with electrical tape or rubber and the stand is ready. You don't need to invent anything else, because your drawing supplies will now always be in place.
