Information stands are widely used in various situations. They are convenient when you need to bring any information to customers or provide information about the progress of business in a company or organization. And the usual schedule of classes in an educational institution is most conveniently placed on a stand. Depending on your needs, you can make different types of stands.
It is necessary
- - plywood sheet;
- - white plastic sheet (or other colors);
- - plexiglass;
- - glue for plexiglass and plastic;
- - yardstick;
- - pencil;
- - a hacksaw for metal or a jigsaw.
Instructions
Step 1
When choosing the type of stand, proceed from the materials that you have at your disposal. In most situations, it is not necessary to build a large stationary stand. The main advantage of such a storage medium is to be lightweight, compact and inexpensive and easy to implement. The simplest stand will require a sheet of white plastic and a sheet of clear organic glass.
Step 2
Determine the size of the future stand. It is entirely determined by your needs and the size of the space where the structure is supposed to be installed. Practice shows that for the needs of a small organization, an information stand is sufficient, which can fit 4-8 A4 sheets. Also provide for a place for a title and a space between information blocks of at least 50 mm.
Step 3
Mark out a sheet of thin plywood or plastic. It is most convenient to place the required number of sheets of paper on the selected workpiece, adjusting the distance between them in terms of the height and width of the future stand. After that, determine the length and width of the stand, mark it with a ruler. Carefully cut out the base of the stand according to the markings.
Step 4
Cut out pockets for information inserts from a sheet of transparent organic glass. The size of the pocket should be about 10-15 mm larger than the size of a standard sheet. For easy handling of the sheets, cut off the upper right corner from each pocket.
Step 5
From the same material, cut strips corresponding to the size of the pocket in length, and equal to 5-7 mm in width. Glue these strips around the edges of each pocket (excluding the top edge); Such pads will allow the plexiglass to be slightly raised above the base of the stand and will facilitate the insertion and removal of information materials. Glue the pockets to the places that were previously defined for them when marking.
Step 6
Make letters of the inscription from colored plastic, which will bear the name of the stand. In the simplest case, it can be the word "Information". Place the letters at the top of the stand and glue them with plastic glue. Provide holes in the corners of the stand for attaching the information stand to the wall. It is most convenient to mount the stand with two or four small screws or screws with decorative covers.
