Our ancestors dressed very nicely and harmoniously. Skilled craftswomen tried to decorate even casual clothes with embroidery, colorful ribbons and other elements. But festive clothes were especially elegant. The types of Russian national costume of different provinces are very different in color, and in decoration, and in component parts. However, a woman's costume, consisting of an embroidered white shirt, a colored sundress and a kokoshnik, is considered typically Russian. Men dressed in kosovorotki, striped pants and onuchi with bast shoes.

It is necessary

  • - paper;
  • - drawing supplies.

Instructions

Step 1

Build a human figure schematically. Draw a vertical line and break it into eight line segments. In the top division, draw the head, the next three segments will occupy the torso, and the remaining four make up the legs. The length of the arms reaches mid-thigh. For a clothed figure, it is only necessary to determine the proportions, without drawing out the parts of the body covered with clothing.

Step 2

Draw a sundress: from the shoulders there are two short straps to a straight or curly neckline of the bodice. Under the bust, the sundress is gathered in folds, and towards the bottom it expands greatly. Draw a wavy bottom line, depicting wide, soft folds in the fabric. Draw radially diverging fold lines from the chest line. In the center and hem of the sundress, let a wide patterned border.

Step 3

Now you need to draw the shoulders and puffy sleeves of the shirt - they can be extended at the top or, conversely, at the bottom. The bottom of the sleeves is gathered at the cuff and forms a voluminous slouch. Another option is wide trapezoidal sleeves, decorated with a wide embroidered border at the bottom. The upper part of the shirt, not covered with a sundress, is also decorated with sun-shaped embroidery around the neck.

Step 4

Draw a traditional feminine hairstyle - an even part of the hair, a long braid thrown over the shoulder in front. Place a large bow under the oblique at the back of the head - its edges are visible from the front. And decorate the bottom of the braid with an embroidered braid.

Step 5

On the head, depict a beautiful high kokoshnik, heart-shaped or of some other shape. The edge of the kokoshnik can be decorated with a scalloped line. On the side of the kokoshnik, as well as along its edge along the forehead, there can be short threads of beads in the form of a fringe. Decorate the kokoshnik with floral or geometric patterns that emphasize its shape.

Step 6

Start drawing a men's folk costume with a shirt ending below the waist. Draw the shoulders wider, more masculine. The sleeves of the shirt are either slightly widened to the bottom and straight, or gathered at the cuff in an assembly. Draw a stand-up cylindrical collar and a chest closure located on the left. Usually both of these elements are decorated with embroidery or braid.

An obligatory and important detail of a man's suit is a belt or sash. They were girded with a shirt at the waist. In the festive version, the sash was richly decorated. Draw a knotted belt with two hanging ends.

Step 7

Next, draw the pants - they are wide, tucked into high boots or in rag onuchi, wrapped around the shin, and bast shoes were worn on top of the onuchi. Draw onuchi with characteristic intersecting lines tied with a narrow cord. The legs form a small volume over the tops of the boots or onuchi - an overlap of gathered fabric.

Step 8

Shoe the person being portrayed either in soft boots with small heels or in braided bast shoes made of golden bast. Try to accurately convey the weaving, because bast shoes are primordially Russian shoes and are one of the most typical and recognizable elements of folk costume.

Step 9

Finish the drawing with the image of a round hairstyle "under a pot" and a headdress - a cap with a narrow band and decorated with a flower (this kind of dress is typical for an urban costume) or a high hat, slightly knocked to one side.
