Step 1
First, determine when it is convenient for you to paint your bmx. Remember that after you have completed your idea, you will not be able to ride the bike for a while. The most difficult thing is to choose the color and structure of the paint. Choose a car paint of your choice - it can be acrylic, luminescent, metallic. Buy a metal spray gun to apply it.
Step 2
Now determine the place where you will paint bmx - ideal for this is a garage or balcony. Remember that the paint smell will fade for several days. Next, take old newspapers or film, lay them on the floor, put your bike on top of the newspapers. Wear clothes that you don't mind getting dirty. Old pants and a long-sleeved shirt are perfect for your work without getting dirty.
Step 3
Remove all accessories from the frame so as not to get dirty, prepare the bike for painting. Put on your gloves, grab a piece of sandpaper and gently walk over the bmx frame. Take a paintbrush and brush off the resulting dust. Wipe the surface of the frame with a rag, then take a can of soil and spray it evenly over the entire frame. The primer is applied under the paint so that it sticks better.
Step 4
Wait a couple of minutes and reapply the primer, then it should dry. Then apply the paint to your bike with a spray bottle, repeat as needed to achieve a brighter color. Then leave the bike to dry for a few days. When it's dry, you can paint in some patterns with a small brush.
