Making felt boots is a rather laborious process, each felt boot is unique in itself, because they are not made in pairs, but each individually and formed by hand. Pairs are picked already at the exit, in the picking shop. Valenki can be worn with galoshes, now they are made black, and colored, and transparent. Traditionally, the natural color of felt boots: gray, white and black. You can embellish your pair - arrange felt boots in your own way! Step 1
You can decorate felt boots with colored paints. Felt boots are, in fact, wool, which means that you will need dye for wool. How to dilute the dye is usually written on the packaging. Felt needs to be dyed with acid dye, so add vinegar to your dye. Draw whatever your heart desires - flowers all over the felt boots, intricate patterns, you can draw an animal's face or a smiley on a toe, or you can just draw a figure from the side. Use the contour, it is sold in tubes, your drawing will be a little voluminous, you can also apply the silhouette of the drawing with it, and then paint over it with a dye for wool. You can also use car paint. Prepare stencils and spray from a balloon onto boots through them.
Step 2
You can also embroider your felt boots with colored threads and beads, or attach ready-made crocheted appliques. Delicate flowers of pink, yellow and blue colors will look very beautiful on white and light gray felt boots. On black ones, golden and silver patterns look advantageous, you can embroider silhouettes of houses with silver and gold thread - you get a plot of a night city sparkling with lights. On any color of the boots, small patterns of a contrasting color on the bootleg in combination with an edging made of a patterned ribbon will look beautiful.
Step 3
You can design only the bootleg - trim it with a crocheted fabric with a pattern or a fabric woven from beads. Or you can make a fur trim and attach two funny pom-poms on the laces. By the way, the bootleg itself can be figuratively cut on a special machine, or even perforated along the edge.
You can embroider a personalized label on a typewriter, for example, with your name or a text of comic content, and sew it to the boots on the front or on the side. You can simulate lacing or sew on straps. Show your imagination when designing felt boots, and a masterpiece will turn out from simple rustic shoes.
