A synthesizer is a keyboard electric musical instrument. The method of sound production on it is similar to that of a piano, but, unlike its wooden counterpart, it will not sound if it is not connected to the mains. Depending on the situation, the instrument can be connected either to a network only, or to an amplifier, or to a computer.

It is necessary

  • Synthesizer;
  • Cables with “jack” outputs and “jack” - “minijack” adapters;
  • Amplifier;
  • Mixing console;
  • A computer.

Instructions

Step 1

For standard activities at home, simply plug the included power supply into the synthesizer with one end and the other into an outlet. After that, check if the volume on the instrument is turned down and press the power button. It is usually denoted by the word “Power”. Then adjust the volume and start playing.

Step 2

During the rehearsal, in addition to connecting to the mains, sound reinforcement is required. Connect the mixing console and amplifier to each other, turn on. Plug the “jack” end of the cable into one of the remote control channels. Plug the other end of the cable into the corresponding “jack” input on the back of the synthesizer. For stereo sound, connect another such cable. Next, adjust the volume and effects. You can play.

Step 3

To connect to a computer, plug the synthesizer back into the mains, then the cable with “jack” input to the socket on the back of the instrument. Slide the adapter onto the other end. Together with the adapter, insert the cable into the microphone jack on the system unit of your computer or laptop (pink, indicated by the microphone icon next to or above it). Adjust the volume while the audio editor is on.
