Step 2
Start knitting the ribbon with a full round motif. Will this motive be located at the top or bottom of the product - it depends on your idea. If you make it at the bottom, then several ribbons tied in one direction and fastened together form a beautiful border.
Step 3
Having decided to attach the ribbons during the knitting process, knit the following elements of the ribbon lace according to the pattern, knitting one side completely, and on the other, without knitting 1 row. The number of rows in this part must be odd. Remember to periodically apply tape to the pattern. The stripes can be arranged as you like - along, across or diagonally. The details are tapering in the right places with the help of shortened rows. Tie 2 ribbons without the last row.
Step 4
Fold 2 ribbons together. In this case, the completely knitted edge of one should be combined with the edge of the second, where you did not knit 1 row. Attach the thread where you started and knit the unfinished row of the strip, joining the finished edge of the second ribbon at regular intervals. It is most convenient to do this in the most convex parts of one and the other part. If you are attaching lace to a piece with a different pattern. mark this part. Tie knots in a different color where the hem will touch the raised part of the lace. At the same time, knit a dense piece, not a ribbon. Attach the strip in the same way as in the first case.
Step 6
Knitting of products from braid has a lot in common with the technique of ribbon knitting. In this case, an accurate pattern is especially important. Tie a piece of tape and place it over the pattern. As a rule, the knitted braid has "ears" - arcs of air loops on the sides. After laying the braid and making a bend, knit such a chain of air loops and drag it into the existing arc. In the same way, attach the rest of the "ears" in the process of knitting.
