You will need: polymer clay of different colors, tools for polymer clay, a special knife for clay, waxed cord, accessories.
Two types of bracelets are made from polymer clay: bracelets from beads and bracelets with pendants.
1. Bead bracelets
Come up with a jewelry design and decide on the shape, size and color of the beads. They can be traditional round, square, oval. There are two ways to make polymer clay beads: making a whole bead from one piece of clay, making a bead in the style of "Murano glass".
To make a bead in the style of "Murano glass" you need to roll a ball out of clay. Using a special tool (similar to a pastry syringe), make a multi-color cylinder. Cut the cylinder into thin pieces and glue the ball with them. Make a through hole in the bead. It turns out a bead as in the photo.
Bake polymer clay according to the attached instructions. It is best not to bake the clay in the oven in which you cook your food. Clay is toxic when it is baked in the oven, it is imperative to ventilate the room.
Use ready-made beads in accordance with the idea. For example, you can weave a shambhala bracelet.
2. Bracelet with pendants
Bracelets with pendants are more popular than “shambhala” and other polymer clay bracelets. Pendants are made in the form of berries, sweets, donuts and other delicacies.
To make a bracelet with pendants, you need to think about what it will be like. Draw a sketch on paper. Pendants are made from one piece of clay, several small balls of clay (for example, a raspberry-shaped pendant), several pieces of clay.
Ready-made pendants are tinted with dry pastel, add various decorations (as long as the clay is soft, this can be done), make small holes for fittings.
After baking the clay, you need to insert a pin with a ring into the hole. The end of the pins must first be coated with glue.
The pendants are attached to a special chain bracelet.
