Polymer clay flowers will not fade, they will delight their owner for a long time. From them you can make a gorgeous composition. These flowers will be an original gift. Making flowers from clay is called ceramic floristry. Its basics are easy to learn.
It is necessary
Self-hardening polymer clay, floral wire, mold, tape tape, damp cloth, acrylic paint, brush, scissors, stamens, styrofoam, polymer clay ruler, nippers
Instructions
Step 1
You need to divide the clay into several pieces. To do this, you should use a special ruler for modeling polymer clay or a device for making balls. They will help you make blanks for the petals of the same size.
For poinsettia you will need:
5 small pieces;
5 medium slices;
5 slices slightly larger than average;
6 large pieces of clay.
The workpieces should be folded on a damp cloth and covered with a damp cloth so that the clay does not dry out.
Step 2
With the help of a mold, we form a petal. In its base, you need to carefully insert a thin floristic wire, smeared with PVA glue (glue is needed so that the petal is well fixed on the wire).
Leaves are made in the same way.
Step 3
The petals must be dried.
Step 4
To make the flower bright, you need to paint the petals with acrylic paint.
Step 5
Dry the painted parts in an upright position.
Step 6
To collect a flower, you need to attach the petals to a wire with stamens. The petals must be attached one at a time. Be sure to wrap the resulting stem with floral tape.
During the assembly process, it is important to correctly position the petals.
