The construction of a clothing pattern often becomes almost the most difficult stage in the process of sewing it. However, sometimes you can do without a preliminary drawing. To sew a blouse from scarves, it is enough to draw only 4 lines directly on the fabric.

Instructions

Step 1

Take two large square handkerchiefs. Their size should be the same and be at least one meter diagonally. Using a measuring tape, measure the distance from your waistline to a point below the collarbones by 2-3 cm. Measure the same segment from the back.

Step 2

Place both scarves on the table so that their corners coincide with the vertical and horizontal axes (i.e. it will not be a square, but a rhombus). On the scarf that will be the front of the blouse, step back 10 cm from the bottom corner and put a dot with tailor's chalk. From this point on the vertical axis, set aside the taken measurement up (length of the front to the waist line). Through this point, draw a horizontal line parallel to the horizontal axis, from edge to edge of the scarf. Draw the same segment through the bottom point on the waist line.

Step 3

Determine the width of your blouse. To do this, measure the half-girth of the chest and add the required number of centimeters if you want the clothes to be loose. Mark this distance on two horizontal lines and draw vertical lines perpendicular to them. Stitch them on a sewing machine. In this case, the side corners of the scarf should remain on the outside of the blouse. At the level of the waistline, sew one loop at the sides so that later you can insert the belt into them.

Step 4

Choose two silk ribbons to match the color of the scarves. They will replace the straps. Stitch two shoulder straps at the level of the top horizontal line to the back of the blouse. Sew on the front at the same level on a button, snap, hook or Velcro. Attach the second part of the selected accessories to the end of both straps.

Step 5

Turn the garment right out and try on the blouse. The top corners of the scarf will fall down the front and back, creating an unusual drape. At the waist level, it is necessary to intercept the blouse with a thin belt, threading it into the prepared loops.

Step 6

The colors of the scarves for the front and back of the blouse can be the same or different (in this case, make sure that the color and patterns of the scarves are in harmony).
