Angel Heart (1987)

The atmospheric and stylish mystical thriller, shot by the famous Alain Parker, is rightfully considered one of the best films about reincarnation. The main role was played by a young and still very handsome Mickey Rourke.

The film is set in the 50s of the last century. A mysterious client turns to a private detective with a request to find the famous musician Johnny Favorite, who mysteriously disappeared from their psychiatric clinic.

Harry Angel, played wonderfully by Mickey Rourke, begins an investigation. The investigation leads him to New Orleans. As he approaches the solution to the mystery, Johnny begins to realize that he is somehow personally connected with the missing musician.

The role of the mysterious client was played by the incomparable Robert De Niro. By the way, during the filming, they specially tightened his throat so that the veins on his face and neck would swell, and the nails on his hands were natural. De Niro worked very seriously on this role, and he really succeeded to glory.

Heavenly punishment (1991)

Quite instructive and vivid fantastic comedy. How many films based on this plot will be made later!

Loving and unfaithful advertising manager Steve Brooks was killed once. It's just that his three mistresses are tired of the fact that he constantly leads them by the nose.

Once in the next world, Steve begins to realize that heaven does not "shine" for him, and he will have to vegetate in hell for eternity. Suddenly, he is offered the opportunity to avoid a fair punishment, however, the conditions are very difficult: you need to find at least one woman who will say that she really loves him.

The task looks simple, but only now Steve returns to earth in female form. Ellen Barkin, who starred in this film, received a Golden Globe nomination.

Key to all doors (2005)

A horror film, in the center of the plot is the story of a young woman and a girl who gets a job as a nurse in the house of a wealthy planter. Caroline, played by Kate Hudson, knows what she wants from life and does not believe in mysticism and witchcraft.

Arriving at her new place of work, Caroline encounters the wife of a terminally ill Ben - Violet, who was brilliantly performed by Gina Rowlands. The mistrust on the part of Violet and the many strange orders that reign in this huge house make the girl understand that her employers are not quite ordinary people.

The original plot and unexpected ending make this film worth watching.
