Most people don't think about the artistic value and interesting composition of their pictures, but if you want your photos to really be unusual and interesting, there are a number of rules to consider that will give you quality pictures.

Step 1
Choose your footage to maximize the atmosphere of the event you want to capture. A high-quality photograph should convey a certain set of feelings to the viewer, and that is why each frame should be thought out in advance, choosing an individual angle for all shots and thinking over the composition.
Step 2
Determine what genre you are shooting in - portrait, genre, reportage, landscape, and so on. Knowing the exact genre of each shot will allow you to better compose your photograph.
Step 3
Always pay attention to details - even those little things that seem insignificant in reality will be striking in the photo. Work out the pose of the character, his facial expression, as well as the shape and appearance of the objects that surround him.
Step 4
Be sure to pay attention to the combination of the background and clothing of the person you are photographing - against a background that is too detailed and bright, you can lose a person dressed in light and discreet clothing. Choose a background for shooting so that it complements the frame, but does not distract too much attention.
Step 5
If you are shooting in black and white, always check the composition through the viewfinder - in black and white, some objects may appear different than in color.
Step 6
When photographing portraits, observe the compositional rule of "frames" - so that the human face does not get lost against the general background, in the composition it should be framed by an internal "frame" - tree branches, doorways, arches, and even loose hair or a hat.
