Black and white photographs have some kind of special magical power, and you can create this magic from color images not only with the help of Adobe Photoshop. Let's use a program called ACDSee.
It is necessary
ACDSee Pro 4 program
Instructions
Step 1
Please note that after the change, you can no longer return the photo to its previous colors, so make a copy of it first. Right-click on the file and in the drop-down menu click "Copy", then right-click in an empty space of the folder and click "Paste". The copy is ready. Launch the program and click the File menu item, then Open (or use the Ctrl + O key combination), select the required photo and click Open. If there are other images in the folder where you have this photo, they will also open in the program, but this will not bother you.
Step 2
Initially, you will be in the Manage tab, i.e. in view mode (ACDSee is primarily used for sorting and viewing graphic files). You need to switch to edit mode: right-click on the required file and in the menu that appears, click Process> Edit (or press Ctrl + Alt + E). You will be taken to the Process tab, which will open the image editing menu. The photo will take up most of the work area, but we are interested in the Operations menu, which is to the left of it. Select the Color tab in it, and in it - the Color Balance item.
Step 3
In the window that opens, find the Vibrance and Saturation sliders. If you set any of them, no matter which one, to the smallest parameter (-100). The photo will turn black and white. Click the Apply button and then Done. Now photography has become black and white not only in the project, but also in reality. You can look into the corresponding section of the hard drive and see for yourself.
Step 4
To exit the program, click the File> Return to Previous mode menu item (you will again find yourself on the Manage tab), and then File again, but now Exit (or the key combination Ctrl + W).
