How to grow pineapple? After all, there are never seeds inside the fruit. But you don't need seeds to grow this amazing plant. After all, pineapple will grow from the very green "crown" that adorns each fruit, and after eating it, it goes to the trash can. Thus, we will get an excellent tasty and healthy treat and planting material from the same fruit. By the way, the better the fruit is suitable for serving - the more ripe and yellow it is - the better it will be for planting.

First you need to properly separate the pineapple leaf rosette. To do this, you need to carefully cut it off from the bulk of the fruit, leaving about a centimeter of pulp. Ripe pineapple is very juicy, so it will not hurt to dry our seedling so that the pulp is slightly weathered. To do this, it is enough to hang the sheet socket from the clothesline for several hours. It is important not to overdo it here: you should not overdry the seedling, however, an underdried one can rot before it has time to germinate. The activated carbon powder, which can be sprinkled on the cut, will help the process.

We plant the dried seedling in the ground, like an ordinary houseplant. The procedure itself is quite simple: we moisten the soil with water, install a seedling on it and cover it with a plastic bag to create increased moisture and facilitate root formation. It is even better to cover it with a glass jar, but not every pot can fit it. The pot can be chosen according to your own artistic taste, the main thing is to provide high-quality drainage. As for the soil, let the proportions of humus, sand and peat 2: 1: 1 indicated in the reference books do not frighten the beginner, because, as a rule, any flower soil from the store has just such a composition. But what is much more important - it is necessary to water the pineapple with warm water. It is not necessary to measure the required 30 degrees with a thermometer; it is enough if the water is warm to the touch. Water often, but without creating a potted swamp.

After the pineapple has been in the ground, in the usual atmosphere of tropical humidity, the pot can be placed in a lighted place. The signal that the protective dome in the form of a bag or can can be removed is the appearance of new green leaves. Watering during this time may not be required, but it will not hurt to spray the outlet with warm water a couple of times. This procedure is best done 1-2 times daily and after the pineapple has taken root. Of course, without spraying, it will not disappear, but it will grow noticeably worse.

At the first stage, it may seem that it was not possible to grow the pineapple: the appearance of the roots may be delayed for a month, or even two, and the tips of the leaves will begin to dry out. But one should not despair ahead of time. Continue to spray the plant. Sunlight, humidity and heat will do the trick.

As you can see, caring for pineapple is not so difficult. It is not for nothing that they began to cultivate this plant in Russia even earlier than potatoes - the landowners did not want to lag behind the royal court, and the cultivation of pineapples in Russia became quite a massive hobby. And today everyone is quite capable of growing this exotic plant.
