If you have a laptop, you've probably wondered about its appearance. Full-color stickers that will perfectly fit the surface and will show off there for quite a long time will help you transform the look of your laptop. But in order for them to stick well, you need to know some tricks, which we will now introduce you to.

Instructions

Step 1

The first step is to degrease the surface of the laptop. This is a mandatory step, as the fatty layer invisible to the naked eye that gets on the lid of your laptop in contact with skin, fabric and other materials prevents the adhesive layer of the sticker from adhering securely to the surface. So the sticker can come off after a while in some places, whatever the quality of the film. Regular wiping with a rag will not remove grease from the laptop, but will only smear it and thin it.

Step 2

For degreasing, do not use vodka, white spirit and other solvents for oil paints. These funds include oily substances in their composition. You can also degrease your laptop with plain water by adding a little dishwashing liquid, acetone, or some household degreaser available at any hardware store.

Step 3

So, after degreasing the surface and waiting for it to dry, you can start gluing. Before sticking your sticker to the laptop surface, dampen the adhesive surface with soapy water. What for? The fact is that if the sticker is moistened with lathered water, it can be peeled off and reapplied after incorrect application. Plus, the decal is easier to flatten when wet.

Step 4

When gluing a "dry" sticker, the slightest mistake is severely punished: as soon as the adhesive surface comes into contact with the laptop, it immediately sticks literally tightly. It is practically impossible to tear off the obliquely glued sticker without deforming or tearing it. And if air bubbles remain, there is no way to "expel" them. It remains in this case to pierce the bubbles with a needle and level. But even small holes on the surface of the sticker are very noticeable if it flaunts on the shiny surface of the laptop.
