But it's not so much about the holiday itself, but about one of its most important attributes - a costume. Moreover, it may not be a simple suit that you no longer want to look at. You can go further and build something more majestic. For example, a life size puppet. Thanks to such a creation, any day will become like a holiday.

Step 1
To begin with, it is worth deciding what kind of doll it will be. And depending on this, already think about how to arrange everything. Dolls come in several varieties. These are frame ones (those that are hollow inside, are attached to a metal frame), and costume dolls that are worn directly on the body. Each of these types has pros and cons. But the technology of their manufacture is basically similar, except that it differs in some details.
Step 2
So, the skeleton doll. It takes more time and effort than a costume doll, but it is a little easier to work with. The peculiarity of this doll is in the frame. To make it, you will need many thin metal rods. Plain wire is not suitable.
Step 3
To simplify physical labor, it is recommended to make separately the important components - the head and body (if we are talking about any fairy-tale character). To begin with, the upper part of the body is fixed with the first rod, which will set the starting point for the location of the remaining rods. The first and the topmost one should form a circle. Already from it, by connecting the rods using the stiffening method, we connect the first circle with all the others. It is worth noting that the more such circles there are, the smoother the doll's body will appear.
Step 4
A similar situation with the head. The operation is repeated exactly. After the frame is assembled, it is necessary to cover it with fabric. For less fuss, it is recommended to take measurements and sew the shell separately. All that remains is to pull the sewn "wrapper" over the frame - and the doll is ready.
Step 5
If we are talking about a costume doll, then everything is much simpler. Measurements are taken from a medium-sized person, taking into account "in reserve", since animators of various configurations can work in this costume. The suit is sewn by the standards, and you can perform with a calm soul and a clear conscience.
