For effective use in conjunction with a rifle, the optical sight requires mandatory zeroing, which allows you to correlate the distance to the target with corrective indicators. Zeroing in the scope is quite an entertaining process, especially for those who love and appreciate their weapons.

Instructions

Step 1

After installing the sight on the rifle, zeroing in should start from a distance of 50 meters. Set up the target at this distance and fix the rifle so that using the open sight to aim it exactly at the aiming point.

Step 2

Using the adjusting screws, aim the crosshairs of the telescopic sight exactly at the point at which the open sight is aimed.

Step 3

Take a test shot.

Step 4

Repeat the procedure, moving the target back 100, 200 and 300 meters, noting for each distance the divisions marked on the scope adjustment screws.

Step 5

If necessary, visually remember the difference between the position of the crosshair at a shorter distance and a shot at a greater distance. This can be useful in a situation where you may not have time to adjust the scope.
