Collecting flying models with your own hands is an interesting and exciting activity that can unite a family. When the first hum of a radio-controlled helicopter is heard, both adults and children are delighted. Instructions
Step 1
Prepare a drawing of the model of the helicopter, preferably on a piece of paper. Then transfer the drawings to life-size scale on a dense material. It can be cardboard or plywood. Carefully cut the template out of thick material to transfer it to the aluminum correctly.
Step 2
The fuselage, like the blades of the helicopter, design from aluminum. This metal has the required strength and lightness. Attach the parts of the helicopter in the metal outline. Connect them all together with glue. It is important that the glue is completely dry.
Step 3
Now you can start gluing the fuselage with balsa. Work that requires a lot of patience, but the result will meet your expectations. Wait for all the elements of the helicopter to dry well.
Step 4
Now start tinkering with the helicopter blades. They should be made of aluminum, and then pasted over with balsa. Attach the prepared blades to the helicopter.
Step 5
The helicopter is already ready, but we still need to make it flying. Even over the Internet, you can purchase a remote control with a USB cable for a simulator of a radio-controlled helicopter model.
Step 6
Connect the remote control via USB to your computer. The console is equipped with the appropriate software that will allow the helicopter to become maneuverable.
Step 7
Install the software, in the "Settings" menu enter the algorithm for the maneuvers of the small helicopter. If done correctly, the helicopter is easy to manipulate.
Fast-drying paints are used to design the finished sample.
Step 8
Between several small flying helicopters, you can arrange family competitions with hitting the target (circle) or flying at speed. This is a good idea for a real holiday.
