A mini pump is a very useful thing. After all, with the help of it you can make a desktop mini-fountain.
It is necessary
- Electric motor (3V);
- Ball pen;
- Super glue (waterproof and quick-drying);
- Deodorant cap;
- Gear (with a cap diameter);
- 4 pieces of plastic 1x1 cm;
Instructions
Step 1
Grind off all the teeth on the gear and fit the gear to the size of the cap. Then glue the pieces of plastic opposite each other with glue every 90 degrees.
Step 2
To create the pump body, cut the walls of the cap to 1.5 cm. Drill the holes for attaching the motor shaft (top), and for attaching the handle body (right).
Step 3
We disassemble the ballpoint pen, leaving only the body, and glue it to the side hole in the cap. We glue the motor to the upper hole of the case. After that, we attach the impeller to the motor axis. Then we cut out a plastic panel with a diameter of the cap, drill a hole in it for water intake and glue it tightly to the body. That's it, our pump is ready.
