Corporate events have already become a common pastime for the holidays. But some are still convinced that the corporate party can and should be skipped in order to free up more time for home and family. But this is the wrong approach.
A corporate holiday can rather be attributed to another work event, which is a must-visit and it is absolutely wrong to treat it as an optional party. It is more correct to use the opposite approach - treat a party in a team as an opportunity to show yourself as a charming and polite person, as well as an excellent specialist. Only a very experienced employee, who is recognized as very valuable, can afford not to go to corporate events. If you are a beginner, attending a corporate party is a way to quickly integrate into the team.
Despite the fact that a corporate party is meant as a holiday, you should be extremely careful at it. You should not dress up in revealing outfits, get drunk, flirt openly. In general, moderation should be in every act, even if you are provoked into something, it is better to try to laugh it off, to translate the conversation.
Conversations should be conducted with extreme caution. Avoid risky jokes, criticism of others and, especially, leadership, do not talk about work for too long. Still, corporate is a holiday, so try not to spoil it for yourself and others.
Useful advice: after a corporate party, you should not remember the mistakes of others, even if they seemed very funny to you.
