The wolf is a popular fairytale hero among different nations. If your child enjoys listening to fairy tales and loves to sculpt different characters, there will come a time when he wants to dazzle the wolf. It is better if an adult shows the sequence of actions to the young sculptor, but for this mom or dad needs to first learn how to sculpt forest predators themselves.

Instructions
Step 1
Any plasticine is suitable for sculpting a wolf, including sculptural. But it is difficult for a child to sculpt from sculptural plasticine, and not very interesting, since all the animals turn out to be the same color, and working with the material requires some strength. Therefore, choose ordinary gray plasticine for children. Of course, you need to sculpt on a board. You need a small cup of water to smooth some surfaces. It is better to dress the future sculptor in a special robe, which is not a pity to get dirty. Prepare a piece of cloth to dry your hands just in case.
Step 2
Consider a picture of a seated wolf. Of course, it is better to sculpt from volumetric images, but a toy wolf may not be at hand. A seated wolf consists of three parts - head, body and tail. The head is round, but the wolf has a rather long muzzle. The torso resembles a truncated cone most of all, and the tail is a long, straight cylinder, slightly pointed towards the end.
Step 3
Divide a piece of plasticine into 3 unequal pieces. The smallest piece is for the tail, the other two are almost identical, the one for the head is only slightly smaller than that for the torso.
Step 4
Start sculpting the wolf from the torso. Roll up the truncated cone. The width of its lower base is approximately equal to the height. Determine where the wolf's chest will be. Press in the middle of the chest lightly, from top to about the middle. You will have upright front legs and folded hind legs. Form the front legs. To do this, it is enough to slightly stretch the lower parts of the limbs forward and draw claws on them with a stack.
Step 5
Blind your head. Roll a large ball first, then draw out the muzzle. The muzzle is a flattened cylinder. Roll a ball out of black plasticine and stick it on your nose. The wolf's eyes are close, it is best to make them in the form of balls and stick next to it above the muzzle. Pull out your ears. They are triangular in the wolf, stand upright and are located at the same distance from each other as the eyes. Stick your head to your torso and smooth the joint.
Step 6
Blind the tail. It's just a top hat. When a wolf sits, its tail is not wrapped like a dog's, but lies straight. Stick the tail to the back of your torso. Smooth the joint.
Step 7
In a stack, draw the hairs on the legs, torso and tail. They are just short strokes going upwards at a slight angle. Your fairytale hero is ready.
