As in order to draw on paper, you do not need to have an art education, and in order to draw a flash cartoon, you do not need any deep knowledge. A series of simple steps are enough.

Step 1
You will need to download and install a program in which it is possible to draw a cartoon. There are many such programs, and they all have a similar algorithm of work. Macromedia Flash Professional is considered the most widespread - this process will be considered on its example.
Step 2
After starting the program, a toolbar will appear in front of you, as well as a white field on a gray background. The white box is the work area in which you have to create the cartoon. On the toolbar, you can find many different drawing tools - pen, circle, line, pencil, brush, and many more. To create the simplest cartoon, you need a brush or pencil. Remember that the thickness of the brush depends on the area to be painted, while the thickness of the pencil lines is static and depends only on the settings.
Step 3
Draw an object in the work area that will change its position in the future. Do not make it too complicated, it will be enough to depict a symbol or just a sign, for example, an emoticon.
Step 4
To go to the next frame of the future cartoon, press the F7 key. In this case, you will be able to draw a new frame. If you want the image to remain unchanged, press the F6 key.
Step 5
The simplest option for drawing new frames is the one in which you can see the previous frame. To do this, you need to turn on the onions located on the timeline. Click on them to see the frames you need. Drawing from the previous frame is optimal, rather than viewing all frames at once - this way you avoid confusion.
Step 6
To preview your cartoon, press the Enter key. The time of the cartoon will be displayed on the timeline. If you are satisfied with the result, save the resulting movie using the "File" - "Export" commands. Save the cartoon on your computer in swf format, after which you can both watch it and upload it to the network.
