Spending a week of English does not at all mean sitting at home with textbooks in hand. You can spend this time very exciting, you just need to prepare in advance for the "English" week.

Step 1
To feel the atmosphere of real English life, introduce traditional English dishes into your diet. So, plan your day to have time for lunch and afternoon tea, five o'clock tea. Buy English magazines or borrow them from the library. Prepare fresh editions of prints for breakfast so that you can slowly flip through them while eating delicious oatmeal, as is the custom of the true English. The well-known newspaper in Russia, The Moscow Times, can be found in large shopping centers on shelves near the entrance - it can be borrowed for free.
Step 2
Have an English themed evening. Make English punch, watch English movies. If it is difficult to find them, then you can download from the Internet the highest-grossing action films or English comedies that were once shown in cinemas - so the time for watching a movie will fly by unnoticed and interesting. You should find these films without translation into Russian, i.e. in the original language, such as: Hot fuzz, In the loop, Casino Royal, etc.
Step 3
Invite native speakers to your evening - English-speaking students, for example. You can get acquainted with them near institutes, in a cafe in the city center, where foreigners mostly while away their time, or on the Internet at thematic forums. At the meeting itself, exchange information about the culture and mentality of the inhabitants of the two countries, Russia and Great Britain. Treat your guests to Russian national dishes (fried potatoes, borsch, dumplings, kvass), and ask them to tell you their favorite recipes for the dishes that are enjoyed at home.
Step 4
During the week, aim to visit as many places as possible related to English-speaking culture - exhibitions, museums, festivals, etc. Listening to English-language music and singing along to the beat of your favorite artist is one of the most fun ways to learn a language.
