A warm jacket made of high-quality yarn will not only warm any man in the cold season, but can also become a universal wardrobe item for any situation. You can make such a stylish thing for your beloved man with your own hands by crocheting.
Instructions
Step 1
Buy yarn that matches your jacket model. Focus on the quantity that is indicated in the description. For a long-sleeved product for a man of average height and physique, 700-800 grams of yarn will be needed.
Step 2
Take the necessary measurements. The size of the jacket will be determined by the girth of the chest. Tie a sample 10 * 10 centimeters in size, calculate the number of columns for a set and rows from it. Choose for yourself the way in which you will knit a man's jacket. It is best to knit the back and the shelves with one cloth, the sleeves separately, and then join them together.
Step 3
Start at the bottom. Crochet a chain of air loops with a length corresponding to the size of the chest girth. Knit the second row with single crochets. After tying the last column, turn the knitted fabric 180 degrees and knit the 3rd row in the opposite direction. Knit the next rows in the same way, at the end of each row, expanding the fabric. Knitting of a men's jacket can also be done with single crochet stitches.
Step 4
Tie a piece of fabric from the length of the garment to the armpit, where the armhole for the sewn-in sleeve begins. Divide the canvas into three parts (back, two shelves), conventionally marking the side seams. Continue to knit each piece separately, starting at the back.
Step 5
To form an armhole on each side of the back at the end of each row, do not knit 1-2 columns. By decreasing the loops in this way, you will slightly round the line of the beginning of the armhole of the jacket. Having knitted 2 cm in this way, continue working straight. Knit a neck 2-3 cm deep. Make the beveled shoulder line in shortened rows. Do the same by knitting the shelves. At the same time, knit the shape of the cutout (V-shaped or round) from the chest part of the shelf.
Step 6
Tie the sleeves, sew the shoulder seams, sew the sleeves into the armhole. Tie a bar along the edge through the neck with single crochet stitches, making a chain of several air loops in the places of the holes for the buttons (their number depends on the size of the button).
