Step 1
By standard means, screenshots are saved using the "Prt Scr" (Print Screen) key on the keyboard. After pressing it, the image is saved in the system clipboard. Then the resulting image can be pasted using the combination of keys "Ctrl" and "V" into the window of any graphics editor (for example, standard Paint, or the more professional Photoshop application) and save it in the desired format.

There is also Fraps program for taking screenshots and recording video from the monitor screen. It allows you to save screenshots in a specific folder with the specified parameters. For example, the program is capable of taking pictures at intervals of several seconds and allows you to specify the file format that you want to receive. You can independently select the key, when pressed, the screenshot will be taken. To configure the appropriate parameters, just go to the program and select the appropriate tab "Screenshots" in the top panel. All configurable parameters are presented there. Then, having applied the changes (the "Apply" button at the bottom of the window), you need to minimize the program to the tray (the "Minimize" button). After that, you can launch the desired game and take any number of screenshots by pressing the specified key. In order to shoot a video in the game, you should use the similar settings of this application in the corresponding "Video" tab.

Snapshots can be taken directly from the game window by pressing a specific key. Its name can be found in the settings of the keyboard parameters in the game (usually "Options" - "Keyboard layout") in the corresponding item. When you press the assigned button, the snapshot is saved in the game folder or in the Windows image directory.
