Knitted fur clothing is becoming more and more popular. Luxurious warm and fluffy hats, scarves, capes and outerwear - all this can be done with your own hands from natural and artificial fur residues. Usually, needlewomen purchase raw materials in the atelier or from familiar furriers. Knitting from fur is an extremely painstaking task, but the result will delight you. The clothes are modern and elegant, while their owners manage to save on material.
It is necessary

Instructions
Step 1
Think carefully about the type of the future product, based on the quality and quantity of the collected material. For knitting, you need fur with a soft skin (leather underside). Experienced craftswomen recommend mink, ferret, fox, rabbit; soft faux fur is also used for this work.
Step 2
Sort the pieces by color (if the palette is varied); Leave the neat and fluffiest parts for the "face" things, set aside the rejected ones - they can be used under the hem or in other inconspicuous places of work.
Step 3
Prepare the fur for knitting. To do this, it must be cut into thin identical strips (from about 0.3-05 cm thick) with a special knife for furrier's work or a very sharp clerical knife. Some make zigzag cuts - in this case, the segments are longer, and due to the different direction of the pile, the finished fur product turns out to be especially fluffy.
Step 4
Make a fur thread. Glue the scraps back to back with leather glue, or sew them together using thread just to match the flesh. You can pre-roll the fur: slightly moisten the skin with clean water using a soft bristled brush, then spiral each strip onto the drill bit and rotate the tool at low speeds. Wrap the finished tape onto the reel.
Step 5
It is recommended to knit fur on straight or circular needles of medium thickness (No. 3-4) with woolen yarn to match the pile. The optimal pattern when working with this material is a solid front stitch (when knitting in straight and reverse rows: in the front rows - only front loops, in the back rows - purl; with circular knitting: only front loops are performed in all rows). Garter knitting is also acceptable (in all rows - front loops), but such a fabric will turn out to be thicker.
Step 6
Knit the first row entirely of woolen thread. From the next row, start introducing the fur: one loop is knitted only from yarn, the second - with the capture of the working thread together with the fur strip. Mezdra (if the thread is not twisted) should always be on the wrong side of the work! After completing each row, gently straighten the fur fibers, releasing them to the front side.
Step 7
If the finished outfit requires a lining, make it from a dense, but soft fabric and sew to the wrong side by hand with a blind stitch.
