An Easter napkin will be a harmonious addition to the setting of a festive table or an excellent gift for a bright holiday.
It is necessary
- - dense linen fabric (plain and colored);
- - 4 m bias inlay;
- - threads for the sewing machine (matching the color of the fabric);
- - ruler;
- - template;
- - sewing pins;
Instructions
Step 1
Make a template-circle with a diameter of 30 cm. Cut out 4 circles: 2 parts from plain fabric, 2 from colored fabric (middle part).
Step 2
Chop off the middle part with pins so that it does not slide off during sewing, with the right side out.
Tape the edges of all three circles with a zigzak seam.
Step 3
Draw the template by dividing it into six equal parts so that each part forms an angle of 60 °.
From the template, transfer the marks to the upper circle, 4 cm away from the edge. Make loops in 2 rows.
Step 4
Put all 3 parts together, draw a circle with a diameter of 15 cm in the middle and sew all 3 circles along the marked line.
Fasten the edges of the napkins (see photo): sew the lower and middle along the line where the loops are made, and the middle and upper ones between the loops.
Assemble the napkin by threading the tape through the loops.
