To start knitting napkins, you need to dial the loops. They can be cast from one loop, or obtained using an auxiliary thread. An easier way is to crochet the loops. The number of loops should correspond to the size of the napkin and the rapports. Step 3
With the simplest set - crochet, make one loop, 2-3 cm in diameter. Then tie it in a circle with small loops and transfer the knitting to the knitting needles. So when knitting, you can check the size and shape so as not to make mistakes in individual parts.

There are many patterns for napkins that can be found in craft magazines. It is much easier to knit according to such patterns, since there is an already formed rapport and an arrangement of loops from each other vertically and horizontally.
Step 5
The finished napkin can be beautifully decorated around the edges: tie it with a contrasting thread, add fringe or tassels. After knitting, be sure to stretch the napkin on the fabric, dampen and dry. So it will always keep its shape and not twist at the ends.
