To make a paper transformer, you need scissors, heavy paper or cardboard, and tape.

Step 1
Draw a sheet of cardboard 24 cm long and 12 cm wide into three columns. The first column should be 5 cm, the second 4 cm, and the third 3 cm.
Step 2
After that, draw the sheet with transverse lines to form eight horizontal stripes - respectively, in each column, you will get eight rectangles 3 cm high.
Step 3
Now that your sheet of paper is outlined, take your scissors and cut it into strips along horizontal lines - so that you have eight strips of three rectangles each.

Then bend each of the stripes along the vertical lines between the rectangles so that from each piece of paper you get the letter P.
Step 5
Connect the edges of one of the figures - you will see how it takes the shape of a triangle. Fix the corner with a piece of tape.

In the same way, connect the edges of all the other seven strips and glue them with tape to get a set of volumetric triangular modules.
Step 7
Take two modules and align them so that they fit exactly one above the other. Glue a strip of tape to one of the sides to glue the two modules into one.

Repeat the same action with the rest of the modules, gluing them two at a time - so that you get four double elements of the future transformer.

After that, combine the modules again, two at a time - as a result, you get two parts, each of which consists of four modules.

On one of the sides, at the junction of the upper and lower modules of each part, glue a piece of tape. You now have two flexible and ductile parts.

Place them next to each other so that there are 3x3 squares on top, and the edges form an angle on the bottom. Place a piece of tape between the top two squares.
