The intellectual and creative development of a child is an important task for any mother, and for this purpose a variety of activities, games and exercises are used that children willingly perform in a playful way. Creative thinking is perfectly trained by writing poetry and stories, and you can also compose riddles with your child - in this case, you will enjoy not only the writing process, but also from further solving the planned rebus by you or your child.
Instructions
Step 1
When coming up with a riddle, take into account the features and characteristics that all riddles have - they never name the hidden object itself, and it must be replaced with any analogue that somehow hints at what you have in mind.
Step 2
The object should be associated with the hidden word or action, and in order to make guessing easier, you must list its main features and signs in the riddle.
Step 3
Ask a few questions in relation to the object you are thinking in order to come up with an association for it: what exactly are you thinking, why this object is needed, what it looks like, what it is made of, what it is used for and by whom. Include the answers to these questions in the text of the riddle, and if this text is poetic, your riddle will acquire increased creative value.
Step 4
The listener, who is being asked a riddle, should have an inverse associative array with the things described, which should lead him to a guess. Whatever object you describe in the text of the riddle, it must have the same features and functions as the hidden object. For example, if you decide to think of a shovel, you can use the image of a spoon in the text of the puzzle as an association.
Step 5
To make the riddle easier to solve, you can name the exact number of letters in the word, or even depict the intended letters with squares on paper.
Step 6
Ask leading questions, use the terms "hot" and "cold" when guessing the word you are thinking.
Step 7
You can also make a riddle like the famous Crocodile game. To do this, you need to depict the hidden object without naming it out loud. The more difficult it will be to depict the object you have conceived, the more interesting the game will turn out. As you can see, it is very simple to come up with a riddle - it is enough to understand what the hidden object looks like and endow the created association with its features and properties.
