The origami mouse will be an excellent gift and original decoration for the Christmas tree for the New Year. It is difficult for a child to make such an animal on his own, but with the help of adults it is quite possible. At the same time, it is important not to forget that antennae, eyes and nose are indispensable elements in the work. A piece of cheese will be the perfect finish to your craft.

First, a sheet of paper is taken on which a 20 by 20 cm square is drawn. Then it needs to be cut out. The square is folded diagonally. Then a triangle is obtained. The right side of the triangle folds to the center line. To make the mouse even and neat, you can outline the fold line with a pencil. The same steps are done on the left side. The result should be a rhombus.

Next, you need to bend the lower right corner upwards by half. You must do the same with the left side. Then, in the lower half of the rhombus, you need to fold a small triangle. It is equal to one third of the bottom of the rhombus. Then the bottom triangle folds up.

In the future, the figure is turned over to the other side. The right side of the rhombus should be folded so that it does not reach two centimeters to the center line. The left side of the rhombus is folded in the same way. After the actions taken, the work is turned over again.

The mouse folds in half. At this stage, you need to make her a tail. To do this, you need to complete a triangle. After that, another fold is made and the triangle and the one that was folded in the previous step. The tail of the mouse is neatly tucked into the pocket.

Next, you should start creating the ears. The triangle folds to the left. The craft is turned over and the second ear is made. It is important to form these elements correctly - the corners are folded along a vertical fold. The mouse is turned over and similar actions are performed.

Drawn eyes, antennae and nose will give the mouse maximum realism. For this, you can use pencils or felt-tip pens. The origami mouse is ready.

To prevent the mouse from being left alone, you can make a couple more using paper of a different color. One of them can be white and the other black. A piece of cheese cut out of yellow paper will be a great addition to the three animals.

You can make it in the shape of an ellipse or cut out 3 triangles of the same size and glue it with tape. Realism can be added with a felt-tip pen, which should be drawn circles on the cheese, imitating natural grooves.
