In his last interview, Aaron Russo said: "I believe that God put me on this earth to be the best I can. And this is true for everyone. You must defend a just cause in life." One can only add to these words - "and bring joy to people." He lived according to what was said.
The amazing personality of Aaron Russo. A famous businessman, film producer and politician - he has always been independent and understood that people must realize their God-given potential. The only way for this, according to Aaron, is to be free, to understand who you are, even though you make mistakes in life, make mistakes. He said that a person should shape character like a sculptor a piece of clay - in 30 years he completely changed his, constantly working on himself.
How it all began
Aaron Russo was born in Brooklyn in 1943 and raised on Long Island (an island in southern New York). He had his first success with his father's business, who had a lingerie business. Russo was one of those who created one of the models of women's bikini panties in 1963.
And then he opened a nightclub in Chicago called Electric Theater. The opening of the club in April 1968 coincided with the death of Martin Luther King. He was killed that day. Chicago was in flames of sad news, and no one came to the club.
In the same year, a convention of the Democratic Youth Party was held in Chicago. Aaron's club became a hangout for hippies who came to Chicago to protest against what was happening in the country. As you know, this protest was expressed in rock music and in their appearance. But the cops staged a raid, while they acted like thugs, beating innocent people with clubs. And Rousseau had previously believed that he lived in America, where human rights are respected.
He was slandered - an article was published in the press with the title "Electric Theater Short-circuited", where a photo of Aaron was placed. They wrote that the club was raided when checking firefighters, allegedly due to the fact that hippies began to attack officials when they found violations, and vans with cops arrived to pacify people.
The impenetrable lie was a shock and an awakening for Rousseau. He went on television and told everyone about this atrocity of the authorities. But nobody cared about the truth.
Two weeks later, two cops came to him, apologized and said that if he wanted to keep his club, he had to give 2,000 dollars. per month. Russo realized that it was a police mafia that had ties to a corrupt government. He was forced to conspire. Before meeting with representatives of the authorities, according to Aaron, there was no deception and dishonest people in his life.
Someone was very disturbed by the Russo club. Once a fire started in the club, and it never reopened - he was survived from the city. Russo returned to New York, where he met the singer Bette Midler in a small nightclub.
She seemed fantastic to him. As soon as Aaron became manager of Bette Miller, her career took off like a rocket. Russo went on to produce a Broadway show where he won a Tony Award, as well as a television show where he worked with Dustin Hoffman.
Then the musical "Rose" was filmed, thanks to which Bette Midler was nominated for an Oscar. And as a result, it became possible to produce "Trading Places" - a film that everyone knows. One of the best films with Eddie Murphy.
Aaron himself was proud of his works and considered some of them classics: the musical "Rose", the comedy "Trading Places" and the documentary "America: From Freedom to Fascism". Six of Rousseau's paintings received Oscars in various nominations, and two - Golden Globes. The Golden Globe Awards are awarded for film work by the Association of Foreign Journalists. Approximately 90 journalists living in Hollywood vote.

Rousseau's ideals
After the 1994 documentary "Mad as Hell," in which Rousseau criticized the government's "war" on drugs, the North American Free Trade Area, and the concept of a national ID, was filmed in 1994, he became involved in politics. And in 1998, he took part in the Republican elections for governor of Nevada, where he won 26% of the vote, but another candidate came forward.
In January 2004, Russo nominated himself for the presidency of the United States, as a representative of the libertarians. With isp. libertad - freedom. Libertarians urge everyone to respect everyone's freedom. Their main theses are freedom of choice, the right to voluntary associations and individual judgments, the right to property and non-interference in the affairs of other states.
Already at the end of his life, in 2007, Rousseau created the political organization Restore the Republic. The ideas of the organization are outlined in his film America: From Freedom to Fascism. In it, Rousseau traces the path his homeland traveled, how the Americans lost their rights and became the unwitting sponsors of a new world order, which, based on Rousseau's thoughts, needs to be changed.
Together with the author of Peter Joseph's documentary "Zeitgeist", a film about the religion and politics of the United States, Russo reflects on who and why created religion:.
Whether the filmmakers knew or not, Jesus Christ spoke in almost the same words about freedom and truth in the Gospel of John ch. 8, Art. 31-32:.
Aaron Russo - the man who was never afraid to tell the truth
When Russo became a popular politician and TV presenter, Nick Rockefeller, a member of one of the most powerful banking families in the world, tried to recruit him directly to make him an assistant for zombifying the population from TV screens. But Russo did not agree with their views, refused to cooperate and made the film "America: From Freedom to Fascism", where he reveals the global goals of the world banking elite, being a direct witness of these plans., - said Russo, -
In 2007, at the age of 64, a year after the release of the picture, Russo passed away. Many people associate these two events. But Aaron was sick for 6 years. He died in a cancer center in Los Angeles from bladder cancer. His wife was next to him. Despite his illness, he made the film America: From Freedom to Fascism.
Russo created a film that boldly exposes the US elite trying to control the entire world. The information he gave in it, as well as his wise assessment of what is happening, served as steps towards true democracy in the country.
