Drawing buildings and landmarks is easy if you take into account the perspective and design of each building you draw. In this article, we will show you how to draw a traditional Russian church.
Instructions
Step 1
Draw a vertical line on a piece of paper, and then from the same point that the line comes out of, draw two more oblique lines that diverge at the same angle.
Step 2
Draw an even parallelepiped based on the constructed isometry, the corner of which is at the lowest point where the lines converge. Define the base of the box and its edges with the dotted line.
Step 3
Draw another line up - you will be guided by it, drawing the dome of the church. Draw four vertical lines on the sides of the box.
Step 4
To draw the dome, draw an arched line curved upward, and draw the boundaries of the bell tower downward, extending from the base of the dome and ending on the roof of the lower tier of the church building. Draw a rounded dome and refine its shape until the dome resembles a pointed bulb.
Step 5
On the left side wall of the lower tier of the church, draw three semi-cylindrical elements from the ground to the roof, covering them with halves of rounded flat domes.
Step 6
On the right side wall, frame the edge of the roof with three curved arches. There should also be three arches on the left, accentuated by three domes of rounded wall protrusions.
Step 7
Mark the right wall with a pencil into three equal vertical areas. Mark the horizontal center line. In the lower middle sector, draw the arch of the entrance door. Draw narrow tall windows in the upper three sectors.
Step 8
Draw several narrow arched windows around the perimeter of the bell tower.
Step 9
Detail the volume of the stone elements of the church with hatching and additional lines. Shade the shaded areas of the towers, doors and windows.
Step 10
Draw the ornament, add volume to the dome of the church with the help of drawing of light and shadow. Draw the shadow falling from the building, and also by hatching show the shadows from the bell tower falling on the walls and windows of the church.
Step 11
Finish all the remaining details of the building and its cladding - and your drawing of the church is ready.
