door leaf (should be 5-7 cm larger than the doorway on all sides), sliding door mechanism with guide and installation diagram, self-tapping screws, anchors, door trims, box-shaped pillars, extensions, door handles
Instructions
Step 1
The work requires accuracy and precision. Take a metal guide from the kit (its length should be equal to two widths of the door leaf) and drill holes in it for self-tapping screws at a distance of 20 cm.
Step 2
Take a wooden block 50x50 mm and a length equal to the length of the rail, and attach the metal rail to it using self-tapping screws.
Step 3
At the bottom of the door leaf, carefully make a groove for the idler roller with a chisel. Using anchors, secure the bar with the guide bar at the top in place strictly horizontally. Place the bottom guide bar just below the top bar.
Step 4
Place the door on the lower guide roller, make it upright and place it in the upper guide bar. If the door is strictly vertical, it will easily ride along the guides, and will not open and close on its own. Place the stoppers on the runners so that the door does not slide out of the runners.
Step 5
Using metal corners, install the box post to the side of the doorway. Decorate it with docks. Nail the platbands. Install the door handles.
