In winter, fishing with nets is allowed by the rules of fishing. They are installed under the ice. Recently, in the northern regions, where the winter fishing season lasts 3-4 months, various designs for installing a net under the ice have been very popular. You can put fishing nets in winter using a simple and functional device - a special winch.
It is necessary
- - a device for pulling fishing nets under the ice;
- - special ice saw;
- - thick wire;
- - strong rope;
- - ice screw;
- - fishnet.
Instructions
Step 1
Find a suitable fishing spot for ice fishing and drill a hole of any diameter with an ice screw. Use a special ice saw to widen the hole and cut out a wormwood of such a diameter so that the winch can go through it.
Step 2
Take the winch out of the packaging and move the handle to the working position, swiveling it 180 degrees and securing it with a special latch. Find a small hook located at the opposite end. Tie a piece of strong rope to it for belay. With its help, it will be possible to get the winch out from under the ice.
Step 3
Attach a ratchet spring to the right side, which will make loud, characteristic sounds when the winch moves, by which it can be easily detected. Test the operation of the ratchet by pulling lightly on the pulling rope.
Step 4
Grasp the end of the cord with your hand and lower the winch into the hole so that the spiked wheel is pointing up. You can help yourself to fix the winch in this position using the same saw, resting it against the hole in the retainer. Push the winch in the direction where you plan to place the second hole.
Step 5
Move towards the second hole, holding the end of the orange cord in your hand. Be guided by the sound of the ratchet installed on the winch. On smooth ice that is not covered with snow, the orange winch moving under the ice will be clearly visible.
Step 6
After the entire length of the winch cord is unwound, it will stop approximately 60 meters from the first hole. At this point, make a hole with a drill, then saw through with wormwood and pull the winch to the surface. If you cannot see the winch, make a hook about 2 m long out of thick wire and try to hook the winch or its cable with this hook.
Step 7
Hook the end of the net float into the swan cord and drag the net under the ice from the first hole to the second hole.
