Instructions
Step 1
Place the balls Place the balls in a special triangular shape. The black ball number 8 should be exactly in the middle of the resulting pyramid. The ball with number 1 is the beginning of the pyramid, there is a striped ball in one corner, and a colored ball in the second. Lay out the rest so that they alternate.
Step 2
Breakout Place the cue in a position convenient for you, the main thing is that during the game nothing prevents it from sliding. Breakdown is made by hitting the white ball (cue ball). He must pocket any object ball or bring at least 4 balls to the sides. If this does not happen, the second player enters. He has the right to continue the game from the starting position or re-install the pyramid and start hitting first.
Step 3
Choosing Your Group of Balls Once you have broken down, you need to make a choice which balls (colored or striped) you will play. The group of balls is automatically determined as soon as you pocket a ball with the cue ball. If you pocket a striped ball, you are assigned all the remaining striped balls and vice versa.
Step 4
Game progress Only hit balls in your group. It is impossible to hit on balls other than the cue ball. Score the eight last, when all of your balls have already been pocketed. When the target ball of your group is pocketed, you continue to play. As soon as you miss, or the opponent's ball gets into the pocket, the course of the game passes to the other participant. The winner is the one who, having pocketed all his balls, scores the eighth number first.
