Step 1
Examine the injured area of the snowboard carefully.
See if the damage is reaching the inner fiberglass core.
Examine the plastic around the damage carefully.
Step 2
Take a razor.
Cut off any hanging plastic.
Remove any white flaked areas.
Step 3
Disinfect the damaged surface with alcohol.
Apply a light coat of epoxy if the damage is deep enough and extends to the core.
Start filling the crack.
Step 4
Take a special P-tex candle in one hand and a metal scraper in the other.
Bring the burning candle and scraper to the base.
Step 5
Spray plastic onto the damaged snowboard. When a yellow plastic appears from a candle, scoop it onto a scraper. If you are already trained and a pro in this case, then instead of a candle, you can use a pressure gun and an electric glue gun, which melts the plastic to the board without igniting it.
Step 6
Use a metal scraper to squeeze the dripped molten plastic into the repair site.
Wait for it to dry and harden.
Done, your board will glide in the snow again at the same rhythm.
