Ekaterina Volkova is better known to fans as Vera Voronina - Kostya's wife from the series about the funny Voronin family on STS. In fact, with a colleague on the set (Georgy Dronov), the girl is connected exclusively with working and friendly relations. The dancer Andrei Karpov became the wife of the actress in real life. The young man does not at all look like her on-screen husband.
Personal dance lessons
The story of the acquaintance of Catherine and Andrei turned out to be rather commonplace. The young people were introduced to each other by their mutual friend - actress Daria Sagalova. Volkova was not too interested in the young man, she only noted to herself his attractive appearance. But Karpov was strongly hooked by a new acquaintance. The young man decided to continue their acquaintance and came up with a non-standard way for this. Andrey is a professional dancer, so he offered Katya a personal dance lesson. The girl did not hesitate for long and agreed. This first lesson was decisive for the couple. After dancing together, the lovers could no longer part, and soon the wedding took place at all.
Today Andrei admits that after a couple of meetings he realized that he was ready to connect his whole life with Catherine. The young man was not embarrassed by the fact that the girl was five years older than him. Many fans of Volkova were sure that the girl's mother and wife on the screen in real life had also long been a family one. In fact, in the first seasons of the Voronins, Catherine was still lonely and did not know from her own experience what marriage is.
Karpov did not hesitate to offer a hand and heart for a long time. Once he invited his beloved to spend a weekend in Paris. In the opera, the young man gave the beloved a ring and offered to become his wife. The actress immediately agreed.
After returning from a romantic trip, Catherine and Andrei got married. The celebration turned out to be quiet and modest. Only the closest friends and family were invited to it. Volkova was categorically against a lavish noisy celebration.
Soon after the wedding, it became known that Catherine was expecting a child. In 2011, little Lisa was born. The actress did not go on maternity leave until the very last moment. Karpov received three educations at once - he graduated from the Moscow Art Theater School, as well as the engineering and architectural faculty and choreography in two other educational institutions. Volkova's husband worked as a presenter, and also got a small role in the same series "Voronins". Despite Catherine's good earnings, Andrei declares that he is still the main earner in the family. The man would even like his wife to become a housewife and give birth to a second child. But so far Volkova is categorically against such a decision of Karpov. Like most couples, the family life of Catherine and Andrei did not become ideal. The spouses also had some problems. For example, to this day, the main reason for the quarrels between Volkova and Karpov is the lack of time to communicate with each other. Often, due to the high workload at work, the couple meets at home only late in the evening. But the lovers simply had to accept this feature of their relationship, since none of them is ready to leave a career or change a field of activity.
Another important issue for spouses is jealousy. Andrei himself has twice aroused his wife's serious suspicions of treason. Once a scandal happened because Andrei was jealous of his wife for her on-screen husband Georgy Dronov. But even then, the conflict was resolved peacefully, avoiding divorce.
