Shooter Call of Duty has long gone beyond the usual "shooter". Since the series began publishing with the subtitle Modern Warfare, each new installment has deservedly become the best-selling game on the planet, providing gamers with a cinematic action of the highest quality that attracts even people who have never played in projects of this genre before.
Instructions
Step 1
Use cover. The main character of all parts of CoD is an ordinary soldier, and therefore easily dies after just a couple of hits. Try to behave wisely: shoot from around the corners, throw grenades at large clusters of opponents, try to stay as far away from your partners as possible so as not to become a victim of an explosion. Lives are restored automatically: leave the line of fire and wait a few seconds if you did take significant damage.
Step 2
Be prepared to hit the key in time. Modern Warfare often prompts the player to react to the surrounding events with more than mindless shooting: for example, if a grenade falls near you, it can be thrown back by pressing g (with the default layout). In addition, be on the lookout if you hear a dog barking - a shepherd can rush at you, and the only salvation will be pressed V in time. Interactive videos (for example, conquering a glacier from MW2) are worthy of special mention: you will have to constantly press various keys that are highlighted by a translucent icon in the center of the screen.
Step 3
Look for workarounds. The levels in the game are linear, i.e. you always go from point "A" to "B", but often the developers leave deserted routes along the flanks. Enemies at many points can appear indefinitely and cannot be dealt with by simply shooting them. Try to find an unobvious path (through a nearby building / alley / hiding in the water) and go to the enemy's rear - then your party members will be able to seize the initiative and go on the offensive.
Step 4
Keep track of mission objectives. From time to time you have to control unmanned aircraft, participate in sniper duels or "quiet" operations. Such "tasks" are not always mandatory, but they greatly simplify the passage (after all, it is easier to be patient and hide from the column of soldiers in the reeds than to fight all at once). Sometimes, acting as a sniper, you have to kill a specific person - listen carefully to the briefing to understand who.
