Depicting animals is not an easy task, but very exciting. The choice of interesting poses, the search for your own style, the drawing of the texture of the wool is an excellent training for those who are taking their first steps in drawing. Try to depict a tiger - a good pencil sketch will decorate your sketchbook.
It is necessary
- - drawing paper;
- - tablet or easel;
- - the pencils;
- - eraser;
- - soft brushes;
- - paper napkins;
- - stationery knife.
Instructions
Step 1
First, try to depict the face of a tiger. Secure a piece of loose drawing paper to your easel or tablet. Draw a circle in the center of the sheet. Draw it with lines. The vertical should bisect the circle. The first horizontal line will run along the line of the eyes, the second marks the location of the nose, the third marks the line of the mouth.
Step 2
Draw another smaller one inside the circle. In the forehead area, it touches the contours of the first, in the lower part it lags behind them by a couple of centimeters. This line marks the outlines of the muzzle.
Step 3
On the head, outline the contours of the rounded ears, and on the muzzle, outline the slanting eyes, focusing on the previously drawn line. Make sure your ears and eyes are symmetrical. At the bottom of the larger circle, draw a rounded chin and massive skin folds that go into the neck.
Step 4
Draw a semicircular line between the second and third contours to represent the mouth. Under the second line in the center of the drawing, sketch out the outlines of the massive nose in the form of an inverted triangle with smooth edges. Examine the drawing. Erase the extra lines, remove the working grid. Draw the contours of the muzzle, eyes, nose and mouth with a soft pencil.
Step 5
Proceed to the most important thing - marking the stripes on the skin. Draw the stripes with small strokes of a soft pencil. Draw vertical parallel stripes on the sides of the muzzle, on the forehead they look like short strokes that lie at an angle and converge on the bridge of the nose. Paint over the tiger's neck with a soft lead, rub the lines with a paper napkin.
Step 6
Rub some lead onto a piece of paper. Take the powder on a soft brush and apply broad strokes to the paper, going around the outline of the drawing. Apply the strokes confidently, applying pressure to the brush so that the color is washed out, but sufficiently saturated.
Step 7
Take a soft pencil and paint with bold strokes on the marked stripes. Draw a bold line on the lower eyelids and paint over the irises with a highlight to create a shine effect. Darken the tiger's nostrils, and on the face, put dots for vibrises.
Step 8
With thin pencil strokes, go over the contours of the animal's face and neck. Apply fine, parallel strokes to simulate wool. Paint over the inside of the ears. Take an eraser and, moving it from the muzzle to the sides, highlight areas that resemble two expanded fans in shape.
Step 9
Using a soft pencil, draw a mustache on the bleached part of the drawing. Darken the lower part of the muzzle and the beginning of the neck, rub the shadow with a paper napkin. Take a soft brush and go over the drawing with it, moving from the center to the periphery. Brush off the remnants of the lead.
