Nikolai Noskov was born in January 1956 in a small town in the Smolensk region, into a family far from art in any of its manifestations. The boy's father worked as a cutter at a meat processing plant, his mother milked cows in the morning and evening at a local farm, and during the day she worked at a construction site. In the family, besides Kolya, there were 4 more children, and all of them were engaged in the household while their parents worked - they fed the cattle, weeded the garden.
Creativity captivated Nikolai when his family moved to Cherepovets. The boy at that time was only 8 years old, but he gladly poured into all school holiday concerts. He did not have a "relationship" only with singing in the choir. When the boy was asked why he refused to sing in the collective, he replied - I will only perform solo.
But Nikolai Ivanovich was able to become a solo performer only in the 90s. Prior to that, he performed in the youth group "Peers", then in the group "Nadezhda", in "Singing Hearts", auditioned for the place of the lead vocalist of "Aria", spent several years in the legendary group "Gorky Park", performed in America.

The history of the group at the very beginning resembled a fairy tale - the team signed a contract with a leading US studio, performed as an opening act for cult rock musicians, but the fairy tale ended quickly. Seeing that the musicians are young and trusting, American managers began to hide the true income from their performances, to understate their fees. Against the background of stress, Noskov began to have problems with his voice, he left the group. After his departure, "Gorky Park" did not last long, all members of the team returned to their homeland.
