Bass is the foundation of music, without it the work will be too lightweight and, as it were, unfinished. When creating a bass line in an audio editor, you need to know the following laws.
It is necessary
- - a computer with an installed audio editor (in the example "Fruity loops")
- - a package of plugins and sample libraries
Instructions
Step 1
Choose the right tools. This can be the drum line ("Kick") and the bass line (3xOsc).
Step 2
Sketch the melody. Make the rhythm even so you don't waste time tweaking the bass.
Step 3
Find the 3xOsc generator in the Channel Presets menu. Select a Voice from the pop-up list.
Step 4
Open the bass channel settings ("Channel Settings" 3xOsc), then the FUNC tab. Find the "Time" (setting the interval between echo sounds) and "Tracking" panel.
Step 5
Turn the Gate wheel 6 or 12.
Step 6
Turn on the "Full Porta checkbox", "Portamento time" ("Slide") and "Porta" in the "MISC" tab should be disabled. On the Tracking panel, customize the Cut and Res as you like, or automate them.
Step 7
Open the Effects Tracks Window and select the effects of your choice.
