Drawing space objects at the same time is both simple and difficult, since they, as a rule, do not represent complex geometric bodies, but at the same time it is almost impossible to see them without using a telescope. Therefore, in the process of creating a comet, one has to be guided by the records of astrologers and photographs taken from the satellites of the planet.
Instructions
Step 1
Prepare the necessary tools: a sheet of paper, a pencil, an eraser, paints and everything that may be needed in the drawing process (a glass of water for brushes, a palette, etc.). If you intend to draw a comet in a graphics editor, then, of course, you need a computer or laptop with the necessary program installed.
Step 2
Draw the direction of the comet on a piece of paper. This space object is not static and is always in motion, the follow-up vector can be established by the location of the so-called tail. Put a point in the place of the "head", then transform it into a circle of the size that will be the base. Draw a straight line from its center in the direction of the imaginary movement.
To create a realistic picture, the length of the tail should be 15-20 times the diameter of the comet's head. Mark the approximate border of its end, put a dot in this place. Draw two curved lines from the circle drawn earlier to the end of the tail, so that the result is a shape that vaguely resembles an ellipse. Its highest points should be located not in the head zone, but on the tail. The distance from the beginning of the comet to them should not exceed 1/3 of the length of the space object.
To make the comet look more realistic, draw two curved lines from the head over the intended boundaries, but without going far beyond their boundaries, to a conditional point located at a distance twice the length of the object. You get the effect of a "fluffy" tail. You need to paint the comet along the upper border. And in this case, it is better to start with the background - space, and only then paint the comet itself.
Step 3
To create a comet in Paint, use the following algorithm:
• Use the "fill" function to prepare a dark background of outer space;
• On the toolbar, select "circle" and draw a shape with a light background inside;
• Press the "wavy line", put a point near the comet's head and, without releasing the left mouse button, draw a long straight line;
• Click once on the side with which you want to create a bulge, step back a little along the line and repeat again; the line will bend;
• Do the same on the other side;
• Make sure that there are no gaps in the resulting shape, and fill it;
• Select a space color and use the brush tool to reduce the length of the tail, giving it an unfinished effect.
