Ekaterina Gradova was born on October 6, 1946 in Moscow in the family of the professor of architects Georgy Alexandrovich Gradov. The mother of the actress was a famous theater actress in the Soviet years. Her father went in for mountaineering, died in the mountains while climbing.
After school, Catherine entered one of the capital's universities at the Faculty of Foreign Languages. But she soon realized that she wanted to follow in her mother's footsteps. Soon she becomes a student at the Moscow Art Theater School. In her fourth year, she captivated the audience by playing in the play "Talents and Admirers", staged at the Mayakovsky Theater. In 1970, she entered the service at the Satire Theater. Here she met Andrei Mironov. After beautiful courtship, Catherine married him.
