Broken zippers can be used profitably and effectively, for example, make an original bracelet out of them with your own hands.
Many things that are out of order can be used with great benefit. I already wrote how easy and simple it is to make a cozy decorative pillowcase for a sofa cushion out of an old sweater or sweater, you can also knit or sew wonderful accessories (rugs and baskets) from old clothes (it is especially convenient to knit them from old knitwear). Old jeans make a great shopping bag, and a simple apron for kitchen work at the same time. And here's another idea of using what ordinary people throw out without hesitation - non-working zippers can also be used in crafts.
To make such a bracelet from non-working zippers, you will need to carefully whip or cut the zipper from your bag or jacket. It is better, of course, to rip it out so that the fabric on which the zipper elements are attached does not sprinkle, otherwise you will have to sew it with a zigzag stitch on a sewing machine or cut it on your hands. Also get any lock (a small carabiner for bracelets and necklaces is perfect), as well as a flat mount (as in the photo) at a craft store.
Fold three halves of the zippers, secure them with a flat fastener, and then weave a regular loose pigtail from these "strands". After the braid is braided, we also fasten the second end, and then attach the carabiner. The bracelet is ready!
Helpful hint: only zippers with metal teeth are suitable for such a bracelet.
