Step 1
If you want to get one mug with a photo, for example, for a gift, the easiest way is to go to the printing house and order such a service there. Printing on one mug is quite inexpensive. The product will be ready quickly, experienced specialists will print everything with high quality. You just have to pick up the result and use it for its intended purpose.
Step 2
You can print the image on the mug yourself. But this will require special expensive equipment, which is usually available only in specialized workshops or printing houses. But if you have it, feel free to proceed. In this way, you can even organize your own business.
Step 3
Make a layout to print at the desired size. Its parameters should not exceed the height of the circle and the size of its girth. Also find out the maximum print width that the heat press is capable of. Fit your layout into all of these constraints. Don't forget to mirror the picture. Now print the resulting layout on an inkjet printer.
Step 4
Wait a little until the ink is completely dry. Now crop the picture, getting rid of the white fields. Secure the result to the mug with thermal tape. Make sure that the paper is close to the surface everywhere.
Step 5
Now put the mug in a heat press, setting the printing characteristics on it, provided for a specific model of equipment. Turn it on and wait for the right time. When the press warms up, use it by pressing the drawing against the mug. Wait as long as required by the instructions, then take out the mug. When the mug is cool, you can remove the paper and tape. The approximate time for making one mug is 10 minutes.
