Products from the net are quite widely used in amateur and sport fishing, these are cages, nets, lifts, etc. Such a small network can be purchased in the store or made by yourself.
It is necessary
- - template;
- - shuttle;
- - a thread.
Instructions
Step 1
Choose the right thread for your net, it should be smooth, resistant to environmental influences and elastic. Possible thread material - linen, nylon, cotton. But keep in mind that the thread should be of the same thickness along the entire length and strong to break.
Step 2
Make the tools necessary for knitting the net - a shuttle and a template. The shuttle can be made of a dense material, for example plywood, the main thing is that it does not bend from the thread wound in several layers and is thin enough. The shuttle width should be two times smaller than the mesh of the net, and the length should be 10-15 times larger than the mesh width.
Step 3
The template is needed in order to give the cells the required size, make it in the form of an oval plate, 10-15 cm long. Make the width of the template so that the thread wrapped around it in one turn is twice as long as the size of the cell
Step 4
To knit a net in one knot, first try to master this technique with a pattern. Place the template between the ring and thumb of the left hand, and enter the middle one into the top cell, pull the net. Circle the thread that comes from the knot of the upper cell around the ring finger and the template, hook on the index, middle and little fingers. Press your little finger to your palm and slide the hook from the bottom with your right hand, without loosening the tension, into the first loop. Overlap the mesh underneath your middle finger
Step 5
When the thread is on top of the template, pull it to the top cell, while all fingers, except for the little finger, should be freed from the loops. Pinch the braid with your index finger and thumb, then release the little finger, tighten the knot
Step 6
If you have learned how to weave a knot and have achieved at least a little automatism in this matter, start weaving a network. To do this, wrap the thread around the template, thus creating an auxiliary loop in the shape of the letter "O". From the thread that comes from the shuttle, make two turns around the template, tie a knot at the edge. Then remove these loops - the second of them will be the very first cell of the network
Step 7
Insert the resulting loop into the auxiliary loop and hang them on the nail. Overlap the loop and tighten the knot, you will already have two loops. Likewise, weave as many loops as necessary to create the length of the net.
Step 8
Remove the resulting net of two rows from the nail, thread the thread into the even cells and place the garland horizontally. Next, weave the odd cells down, until the required network length is reached.
